We collect information you provide directly - your name, business name, email, phone number, and the fuel pricing, volume, supplier, and invoice details you enter into the platform. We also collect basic usage data needed to operate the service.
2. How we use it
We use your information to deliver the service: benchmarking your pricing against rack rates, generating savings estimates, monitoring your accounts, and contacting you about your account or results. We do not sell your personal information.
3. Confidentiality of pricing data
Your pricing and invoice data is treated as confidential. It is never disclosed to suppliers or other third parties without your written consent. Aggregated, fully anonymized benchmarks may be used internally to improve the platform.
4. Data storage & security
Your data is stored securely and access is restricted to the CIPPS team members who need it to serve you. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect it.
5. Data retention & deletion
We retain your data while your account is active. If you cancel, your stored pricing history and dashboard data are terminated; resubscribing starts a fresh account. You may request deletion of your personal information at any time.
6. Cookies
We use minimal cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and remember your session. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
7. Your rights
You may access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information, subject to applicable Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA and applicable provincial legislation).
